Membership of EANS is open to all nurses* who are European nationals with an interest in research into nursing. There are two types of membership:
Fellows have an established career in nursing research and have made significant contributions to the advancement of nursing science, evidenced through a substantial publication record and leadership. Membership as a Fellow costs 100Euros per annum.
Scholars are ‘early stage’ researchers who are starting out on a career in research but have not yet achieved the same breadth and depth of achievement in publications or grant funded research of Fellows. Membership as a Scholar costs 50Euros per annum.

*nurse is used as shorthand to include the broad spectrum of professional qualifications such as nursing, mental health nursing, midwifery, health visiting, community and family nursing.
